St Tropez Foodie tour

During this tour, you will stroll along the charming and world famous streets of Saint-Tropez and you taste regional specialties being absorbed by the colorful smell and sounds of its iconic market.

Travelling to Saint-Tropez is an experience of a lifetime that can also be enjoyed discovering its local products and delights. Did you know that being one of the most renown village in the world Saint-Tropez was a small fishing village nested at the ridge of the Mediterranean sea?

This foodie tour will delight your taste buds whilst giving you a fascinating insight to the local food and wine culture here in the Golfe de Saint-Tropez. You will also learn plenty of local history, as your guide explain how Saint-Tropez was before.

Your foodie expert will take you to some of these local producers as you stroll the market Places des Lices under the secular plane trees smelling the provencal spices and herbs that should not be forgotten in the receipe of the famous bouillabaisse and ratatouille. You will also taste honey, olives and olive base delights, goat cheese, chestnut cream on this truly locals' tour.

You will also visit the traditionnal herb square (where is being sold fruits and vegetables) and the fish market where the freshest and most delicious fish of Saint-Tropez are sold every day under the eye of Poseidon and on a very nice display.

As the tour concludes, you will enjoy a well-deserved drink stop, either for a French coffee or a glass of rosé wine both according very well with a local pastry : the Tropézienne. We will taste the famous Baby'Trop! Invented by a Polish baker settled in the village in 1952, this puff pie stuffed with vanilla cream is to die for and an not-to-be-missed in Saint-Tropez. A wine tasting basis approach will be given to conclude your tour.
